Job Description

  1. Sales Team Management:
    • Hiring, Training, and Motivating: Recruit, train, and motivate sales staff to enhance their performance.
    • Sales Staff Development: Direct sales staffing and training programs to improve sales effectiveness.
    • Performance Monitoring: Monitor salesperson productivity and performance.
  2. Sales Objectives and Profitability:
    • Goal Setting: Establish annual and monthly objectives for unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profit.
    • Inventory Management: Order/acquire new and used vehicle inventory.
    • Market Analysis: Review market analyses and sales reports to understand customer needs and volume potential.
    • Sales Campaigns: Develop sales campaigns aligned with dealership goals.
  3. Customer Interaction and Satisfaction:
    • Liaison Role: Act as a bridge between the sales department and other departments.
    • Customer Service: Interact directly with customers, answering queries, negotiating prices, and ensuring satisfaction.
    • Post-Sale Clinics: Schedule and plan New Owner Clinics as follow-ups to the delivery process.
  4. Administrative and Budgetary Responsibilities:
    • Budget Control: Analyze and control expenditures to meet budget requirements.
    • Factory Programs: Administer and monitor factory-sponsored programs.
    • Merchandising: Display, merchandise, and promote new and used vehicles.
