About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our kids’ toys and gifts store in Dhakoli, Zirakpur. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping families find the perfect toys, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a fun shopping experience for children and parents alike.

Job Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales
Welcome customers warmly and understand their requirements for toys and gifts.
Assist customers in selecting age-appropriate toys, educational games, and gift items
Demonstrate toy features and functionalities to children and parents.
Provide recommendations based on child’s age, interests, and budget.
Handle customer queries regarding product quality, safety certifications, and usage.
Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.

Store Operations
Display toys attractively on shelves, racks, and window displays to attract customers.
Maintain proper arrangement of toys by category (educational toys, action figures, soft toys, ride-on vehicles, board games, gifts, etc.)
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Verify and inspect toys for damages or defects before display.
Keep track of popular and slow-moving items

Billing & Inventory
Prepare accurate bills and invoices for customers.
Process payments through cash, UPI, debit/credit cards, and digital wallets.
Operate computerized billing systems and point-of-sale (POS) machines.
Maintain sales records for inventory control.
Assist in stock counting and reporting low-stock items to management.
Help in receiving and unpacking new stock deliveries

Additional Duties
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the store premises
Follow safety protocols for battery-operated and electronic toys
Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when needed
Support during festive seasons, promotional events, and sale periods

Required Qualifications & Skills
Education
Minimum 10th Pass (12th Pass preferred)
Any graduate or pursuing graduation is an added advantage

Experience
For Freshers: No prior experience required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn essential
For Experienced: 1-3 years of experience in retail sales (toy shops, kids’ stores, or general retail preferred).

Skills & Abilities
Good communication skills in Hindi, Punjabi, and basic English.
Friendly, patient, and comfortable dealing with children and families.
Basic knowledge of mobile phones, computers, and billing software.
Honest, punctual, and responsible attitude.
Ability to stand for long hours and handle multiple customers.
Presentable appearance and professional behavior.
Quick learner with positive attitude.

Preferred Qualities
Knowledge of popular toy brands, trends, and age-appropriate toys
Experience with inventory management systems.
Interest in toys, games, and child development.
Local candidate from Dhakoli, Zirakpur, Panchkula, Chandigarh, or nearby areas (for better attendance and stability)

Monthly Salary
Freshers – 10,000 – ��13,000
Experienced – 14,000 – ��16,000
Compensation for working on weekly off
Additional Benefits
Weekly Off: One day off per week (day to be decided)

Working Hours & Schedule
Store Timings: 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM (may vary slightly)
Weekly Working Days: 6 days per week
Weekly Off: 1 day (rotational basis, preferably on weekdays)
Break Time: 30-45 minutes lunch/tea break during shift

Note: Candidates should be flexible to work during festivals, weekends, and sale periods when footfall is high.
