Job Description

Job Title: Multidiciplinary Technical / technical & Commercial lead with multi disciplinary.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, Geology, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience in both technical and commercial roles within the mining sector.
• Strong knowledge of mining processes, equipment, and systems, including bulk materials handling, crushing, conveying, and beneficiation technologies.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies in a technical environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred Skills & Competencies:
• Familiarity in design and mining software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MineSight, Aggflow) and data analysis.
• Familiarity with TOTEX optimization strategies and trade-off studies for CAPEX/OPEX decision-making.
• Knowledge of environmental, safety, and regulatory standards in the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Leadership • Provide expert insights and technical guidance on mining operations, processes, and technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop optimized, tailored technical solutions for client projects.
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends, innovations, and best practices in mining and beneficiation.
2. Commercial Strategy & Sales Support.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand the company’s market presence in the mining sector.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals, technical documentation, and cost-benefit analyses to clients.
• Actively participate in client meetings and negotiations, ensuring alignment of technical solutions with business objectives.
3. Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, acting as the primary contact for technical and commercial queries.
• Work to understand client needs deeply and provide proactive, high-quality solutions that exceed expectations.
• Ensure client satisfaction through consistent support, follow-ups, and successful project delivery.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with marketing, R&D, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment between technical and commercial objectives.
• Support the development of training materials and knowledge-sharing sessions for internal and clientfacing teams.
5. Project Management & Oversight Oversee the successful execution of projects, ensuring technical excellence meets commercial goals.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables while mitigating risks.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
• Multilingual capabilities (e.g., English, Spanish, Portuguese, or region-specific languages).
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
